1. Who we are

Email: firstprints.shop@outlook.com. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean First Prints, and "you" means the person placing an order.

By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Shipping Policy, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. Please read them; they are short and written to be understood.

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Our products are intended to be used by an adult to take an impression of a baby's hand or foot. They are not toys.

3. Products and images

We do our best to describe each kit accurately. The real kit is the one described in the "What's in the box" section of the product page. Minor variations in colour, packaging and clay texture can occur between batches. If what you receive differs materially from what was described, our Refund Policy applies.

4. Safety

The clay and small parts in the kit must be handled by an adult. Never leave a baby or child unattended with the clay, the frame or the packaging. Do not allow the clay to be placed in the mouth. Wash the baby's hand or foot after taking the print. Keep the finished frame out of the reach of children. Follow the instructions included in the kit.

5. Prices and currency

Prices are shown in the currency of the country you are shopping from: US dollars in the United States, pounds sterling in the United Kingdom and euros in the European Union. Prices for the EU and UK include VAT. Shipping is included. See our Shipping Policy for import duties in the United States.

We can change prices at any time, but changes never affect an order you have already placed. If a price on the site is obviously wrong (for example, a kit listed for 0.99), we may cancel the order and refund you before shipping.

6. Ordering and contract

When you place an order you receive an automatic confirmation email. That email acknowledges receipt of your order; the contract is formed when we send you the dispatch email with your tracking number. We may decline an order before dispatch, for example if we suspect fraud, if the address is undeliverable or if the product is out of stock. In that case you are refunded in full.

7. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments and the payment methods shown there. We never see or store your full card details.

8. Delivery

Delivery times, destinations and what happens if a parcel is late or lost are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave us.

9. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your right to cancel, return conditions and how refunds work are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a 14 day right of withdrawal by law. Nothing in these terms limits it or any other right you cannot waive under the law of your country of residence.

10. Intellectual property

The First Prints name, logo, product photography, video, text and website design are our property or used under licence and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our site and our public social content. You may not copy our product images, video or text for commercial use without written permission. Photos and videos you post of your own finished keepsake are yours; if you tag us, you allow us to reshare them with credit, and you can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us.

11. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, and for anything the law does not allow us to exclude, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence and your statutory consumer rights. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for damage caused by using the kit other than as instructed.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the date you placed it.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. If something goes wrong, please email us first: almost everything is fixed within a couple of messages.

Consumers in the European Union can contact their national consumer centre (ECC-Net) for free help with cross-border disputes. Consumers in Spain can contact the consumer office (OMIC) of their municipality. Consumers in the UK can contact Citizens Advice.
